Skeptical due to the area this is located in (and would advise to be cautious at night) but risked it due to the reviews and glad I did! My family LOVED it and said it’s the best we have had in the area. I did order vegetable fried rice and received chicken - but because I eat meat I’m not docking any points because it was delicious.

Underrated in an area of town where good food can be hard to find. Food is consistent not OMG life changing but it is really good and I am a fan of good food with consistency. The people that run the place are amazing and the service has been stellar for years. Not in the swankiest part of town, which is cool with me because I call that area of Raleigh home and that's where you find the Hidden Gems. Solid for the price, also it's a very clean establishment. I'm from Northern CA, and since moving here, I haven't found anything comparable to SF chinese food. I've missed it. This place hit the spot. It had flavor! Heads up west coast transplants, order the lo mein and not the chow mein if you want noodles. I ordered Sesame Chicken; amazing and moist! Beef with string beans; they weren't soggy. They had crunch and a slight kick. Yummy. Pork fried rice; delightful. House lo mein; combination of shrimp, chicken, and beef. Finally, some good noodles with flavor. I love being in Raleigh. This is the best Asian food I've had in Raleigh. Pad Thai and Pad See Eew were both very good that we ordered yesterday. Today we had Beef chow fun, Salty pork chops and chicken wings. beef chow fun and Pad see Eew are using Flat Rice Noodle which traditional wide shape one. 👍🏼 The chicken wings are very tasty. The pork chops are also very flavorful and remind me of the salted crispy chicken in Taiwan. I didn’t think I could get traditional Asian food in North Carolina, so I'm lucky I found this place!! By the way, the restaurant is very clean and tidy, with no any grease stains on the floor. The owner is very friendly and the price is very reasonable, which is very rare in this special period.

Very good Chinese food. The man taking orders was wonderful, everything was delicious. We waited approx 20min for the food on what seemed to be a busy Friday night. They have weird dine-in hours, so just be warned about that. Was also disappointed we didn’t get any fortune cookies in our takeout! Overall good place and will go Back.

I really wanted to like this place so very badly. I even have bought dinner on three separate occasions thinking maybe they had an off night or maybe I just needed to try a different dish. This place has got my business three times and their food is just mediocre at best. The rice is trash and each time I bought it with my combination dinner I never ate it. They just miss the mark like for example their General Tso chicken is basically sweet and sour chicken sauce with a little spice added. I will say their egg rolls are decent but I'm not going to go out of my way to go somewhere for their egg rolls. This is really unfortunate as they are really close to my house but I will not be going back. Three strikes you're out.

This place is an absolute gem! The food is one of the few places that has authentic Chinese food! We love their calamari and it’s a must! The sweet and sour flounder is delicious! Mu-Shi Spareribs is fantastic! These braised,succulent spareribs over rice will have you saying OMG, sooooo good! General Chen’s chicken is awesome! Move over, General Tzo! The staff and owners are the nicest people! My family has been enjoying their food for more than a decade! My visit tonight was no different! I got takeout for my Dad’s Bday! I placed my order online through their website and it was super easy and gave me the option to set when I wanted to pick it up. It also gave me the option of paying when I picked it up. They wanted to make sure the calamari was nice and hot so they dropped them into the fryer fresh when I got there. They hooked me up with this delicious Thai Tea while I waited which was a pleasant surprise treat! Love this place! You will too!
